◎ Aussehen

Pale golden color with bright clarity and fine carbonation throughout. The head is modest but stable, showing good retention and forming a thin collar of lacing around the glass as it recedes.

◌ Aroma

Pine and resin dominate the nose, characteristic of the HBC638 variety's distinctive profile. Behind these structural notes sit citrus peel and hints of stone fruit, with a dry, grassy undertone that suggests the clean Yakima Chief terroir.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with immediate resinous and piney character, supported by a crisp pale malt foundation that stays out of the way. The bitterness builds steadily through the mid-palate—layered and complex rather than harsh—with subtle citrus and dark fruit notes weaving through the finish.

◑ Abgang

A firm, dry finish with persistent bitter notes that linger cleanly on the palate. The aftertaste remains hoppy and resinous without astringency, fading gradually.
