Sharp's Brewery was founded in 1994 by Bill Sharp in Rock, a village on the Camel Estuary in north Cornwall. Doom Bar turned the small cask producer into a nationally distributed ale brand. Molson Coors has owned the company since 2011. Bottled, canned and kegged beer is brewed at the group's plants in Burton and Tadcaster. The Rock site, where the cask ales are made, is due to close at the end of 2026; cask production then moves to Camerons in Hartlepool. The range runs from amber ale and bitter to pale ale, lager and a fennel-spiced Belgian-style ale.
