Reininghaus
Reininghaus began in 1855, when the brothers Peter and Julius Reininghaus, who came from Westphalia, founded their brewery in Graz-Steinfeld. Within a short time it became the fifth-largest brewery of the Danubian Monarchy and reached an output of 441,000 hectolitres in 1912. After heavy war damage, beer production moved to the Puntigam brewery in 1944. Today the brand belongs to Brau Union Österreich; its Jahrgangspils is brewed only with hops from Leutschach in southern Styria.
