Partizan Brewing
Partizan Brewing was started in 2012 by Andy Smith, a former fine-dining chef and keen home brewer who had learned the trade at a brewery in Tottenham. The first beers were made on the original brew kit of the neighbouring Kernel Brewery in a railway arch in Bermondsey, south London; a larger arch and a bottling line followed. In 2023 production left London for a farm at Thorpe Langton near Market Harborough in Leicestershire, on the site of Langton Brewery. The range covers a pale ale, an IPA with changing hops and its low-strength counterpart, a porter, an unfiltered lager and saisons brewed with lemon and thyme or lemongrass, much of it still poured in London restaurants and bars.
