In the basement of the BeerLovers craft beer store on Gumpendorfer Straße in Vienna's 6th district, the beverage house Ammersin opened Muttermilch in November 2017. Certified beer sommelier Markus Betz, who also founded BeerLovers, leads the small brewery; its 2.5-hectolitre brewhouse sends the fumes down the drain, so brew days go unnoticed in the neighbourhood. The coat of arms swaps Gumpendorf's three lilies for hop cones and a crown, a wink at the foam crown: in the name of the foam crown!
