Wiener Bubi

Tap to rate

Vienna Lager had long been forgotten when a revival began at a handful of breweries; this is Muttermilch's take. Amber under a fine-pored head, it smells biscuit-like and floral, then turns malt-sweet with a fine caramel nuance. Carbonation is moderate, the finish dry, the bitterness pleasant. In 2019 it won the Wiener Lager category at the Austrian Beer Challenge and earned the Bier IG quality seal.
