Miller Brewing Company
Miller Brewing Company traces its start to 1855, when Frederick Miller, a brewer who had emigrated from Germany, bought the small Plank Road Brewery in Milwaukee's Menomonee Valley. Beer is still made on that site, now known as Miller Valley, which counts as the oldest large-scale working brewery in the United States; the historic storage caves and the Bavarian-style Miller Inn remain on the grounds. Miller High Life followed in 1903 and Miller Lite in 1975. Since 2016 the company has belonged entirely to Molson Coors.
