Loch Lomond Brewery
Loch Lomond Brewery is a family business founded in 2011 by Fiona and Euan MacEachern, who began brewing in their kitchen in Luss on the loch shore and opened their first site in Alexandria. After a rebrand in 2018 the company moved in late 2019 to a 35-hectolitre brewhouse near Dumbarton, where it also cans its own beer and runs a taproom. The range runs from session ales and an oatmeal stout to hop-forward IPAs, lagers and strong dark beers. A distillery project named Levenbank has since been added.

How we measure this
Two thresholds are at work here:
- The signature list shows notes that recur in at least 6% of this brewery's beers. A low bar — enough to flag a pattern, not high enough to call it an exclusive trait.
- The peer comparison below shows only notes where this brewery's coverage differs from similar breweries by at least 20 percentage points. A higher bar — enough to call a real difference, not a nudge.
A note can appear on the signature list without appearing in the peer comparison: it recurs here, but similar breweries do the same thing.
Southern Summit
Their beers place in the Top 59% of the catalogue on average, across 16 ranked beers. Consistent rather than spiky — no single standout carrying the rest.
