Gosemanufaktur
Gosemanufaktur is a specialist Gose brewery that has been brewing at the historic Gosenschenke 'Ohne Bedenken' in Leipzig-Gohlis since 2017, reviving one of Germany's most distinctive regional beer styles. The venue itself dates to 1899 and was reopened as a Gosenschenke by Lothar Goldhahn in 1986. Gosemanufaktur produces an 'Edelgose' — a less aggressively sour interpretation of the traditional salt-and-coriander wheat ale — using malt from the Rhön, hops from the Hallertau, and Leipzig brewing water, without artificial additives. Their Edelgose has won the World Beer Award for the world's best Gose on multiple occasions.
