F.X. Matt Brewing Company brews in Utica in upstate New York and has been run by the Matt family since 1888, when Francis Xavier Matt reorganised a local brewery as the West End Brewing Co. A new brewhouse opened in 2019, and in 2023 the company bought Flying Dog Brewery. Fred Matt leads the fourth generation.
