FrauGruber Brewing
FrauGruber is a name built from its founders: Enzo Frauenschuh and Matthias Gruber, two Augsburg locals, started the brewery in winter 2016. They brewed as gypsy brewers at the Old Factory in Gundelfingen before realising their own brewery in January 2020. The barley, Steffi and Marthe, is grown by four farming friends and malted nearby, the 13 yeast strains in use are propagated in-house, and the hops come from the USA, Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand and Bavaria.
