Brouwerij Het Anker
One of Belgium's oldest breweries, founded in 1471 by a community of Beguines in the historic Groot Begijnhof. Best known for their flagship Gouden Carolus range named after Charles V, they expanded into whisky distilling in 2010 with Gouden Carolus Single Malt. The Van Breedam family has operated the brewery for five generations since acquiring it in 1872.
