🌍 Germany · Helles Lager · One of 179 Helles Lagers in hopIQ

Wulle Vollbier Hell brought the brand back in 2008, rebrewed from the handed-down recipe in consultation with a brewmaster of the former Wulle brewery. It is a bottom-fermented Helles made from barley malt and hops at an original gravity of 11.4 °P. The beer pours clear golden under a loose white head. Grain and soft white bread lead the nose; the palate shows a gentle malt sweetness with a faint tartness, and a restrained hop bitterness closes a soft, lightly carbonated finish.
