🌍 Australia · Mid-Strength Pale Ale · One of 20 Mid-Strength Pale Ales in hopIQ

A mid-strength pale ale hopped solely with Galaxy on a base of pale, Vienna and caramalt with rolled wheat. Passionfruit and stone fruit carry the aroma, and the malt stays present for the strength, with almond, honey, light caramel and a brioche-like note behind a medium but restrained bitterness. The body is light to medium. It joined the core range in 2023, in the same update that retired Tempe Tim.

Taste

The palate opens with soft stone fruit and tropical notes from the Galaxy hops, quickly joined by the malt's honeyed structure and a light caramel sweetness. Almond and subtle brioche notes provide textural depth on the mid-palate, while a restrained medium bitterness arrives toward the finish without dominating the overall balance. The light-to-medium body carries all these elements with ease.
