Cadence

Tap to rate

Cadence is a hazy pale ale first brewed in 2020 to mark the team's love of bikes and cycling. The brewery describes delicate, supportive malt and punchy hops that deliver fresh tropical and citrus fruit ahead of a dank, piney and moderately dry finish. Soft haze and light malt carry the fruit, and the resinous close keeps the beer lean. In 2025 it took silver in the Welsh round of the SIBA Indie Beer Awards.

◎ Appearance

Cadence presents a soft, luminous haze that diffuses the pale golden-amber body into an almost creamy visual presence. The head is persistent and fine-grained, clinging to the glass with delicate lacing. Carbonation appears moderate and well-integrated, supporting the haze rather than cutting through it.

◐ Taste

On the palate, soft malt carries the entry with a gentle, supportive body that avoids heaviness. The mid-palate blooms with tropical and citrus fruit flavors that mirror the aroma, then transitions into a dank, piney bitterness that builds steadily without harshness. The finish turns notably dry, with resinous notes lending grip and definition.
