◎ Appearance

A hazy, unfiltered pour yields a clouded gold body with soft, diffuse light transmission typical of the New England style. The head forms quickly and clings to the glass with moderate persistence, leaving fine tracks of lacing on the walls. Carbonation appears gentle, contributing to the rounded, full appearance.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with bright tropical and stone-fruit notes: grapefruit and peach dominate, followed by mango and juicy orange. Behind the citrus sits a soft stone-fruit character from the Vermont ale yeast, adding depth without sharpness. A subtle grain note from oats and wheat grounds the bouquet, keeping it balanced rather than purely fruity.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with creamy, rounded entry—the oats and wheat in the grain bill deliver a smooth, full mouthfeel that carries the fruit character forward. Mid-palate shows layers of peach and orange alongside a juicy hop expression, building into a drier finish than the style typically offers. A firm citrus-pith bitterness emerges in the latter half, providing structure without harshness.

◑ Finish

The finish holds a lingering hop kick with pronounced citrus-pith dryness, pulling the overall impression toward restraint. The aftertaste remains clean and dry, with residual orange zest fading over several seconds.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
