🌍 Japan · Pale Lager · One of 73 Pale Lagers in hopIQ

The international flagship of the brand is a golden, brilliantly clear lager with a tight white head. Contrary to a widespread belief it contains no rice and is brewed from barley malt, hops, water and yeast only. The nose shows cracker-like grain, fresh bread dough and a light floral, slightly herbal hop note. The palate is lean and bready with a faint pear-like fruitiness and a touch of sweetness, ending dry and crisp with gentle bitterness.

What is a Pale Lager?

Euro Pale Lagers are clean, refreshing lagers with 4–5.5% ABV and IBU 10–25. Soft malt sweetness, light hop bitterness and high carbonation make them supremely drinkable.
