Sapporo Nanamaru

Tap to rate

An unpasteurised lager launched across Japan in 2023 and fermented out to very little residual sugar, brewed from barley malt, hops and added sugars. A share of fine aroma hops and a larger aroma hop addition, introduced with a later recipe revision, give it more hop character than its lean build suggests. It pours pale gold and smells of light grain and faint floral hops; the body is very thin, with little sweetness, a mild bitterness and a quick, dry finish.
