Tasting Notes

AI-generated sensory profile for DDH Galaxy-Hero

◎ Appearance

Pale golden-yellow with a distinctly hazy, cloudy appearance from suspended yeast and hop material. A dense, creamy white head forms on the pour and clings to the glass with good retention, leaving fine bands of lacing. Bright carbonation is evident throughout.

◌ Aroma

The nose is dominated by layered tropical fruit—mango, passion fruit, and pineapple—with bright citrus notes of grapefruit and orange zest. Stone fruit character, particularly peach and apricot, emerges beneath the hoppy profile, while a subtle mineral undertone suggests the Nelson Sauvin and Strata contributions. No sharp alcohol or solvent notes despite the 8% ABV.

◐ Taste

Entry is juicy and full-bodied, with immediate tropical and peach flavors melting across the palate. The mid-palate develops citrus complexity—grapefruit rind and orange—balanced by restrained bitterness (50 IBU) that never dominates. Soft, creamy mouthfeel from the haze and yeast suspension carries through, with a slight sweetness that reinforces the fruit character without cloying.

◑ Finish

The finish is clean and drying, with tropical fruit and citrus lingering for a moderate length. A gentle hoppy bite fades into a refreshing, slightly dry aftertaste that invites another sip.
