🌍 Czech Republic · Pale Lager · One of 101 Pale Lagers in hopIQ

Medové is a limited, bottom-fermented pale lager of 5.5 %, brewed from 13 degrees of original gravity with maple honey from the village of Rokytník u Hronova in the foothills of the Giant Mountains. The brewery gently warms the honey in the cellar and pumps it into the lagering tanks, where it dissolves over several months as the beer matures. Pilsner malt and the Czech hops Saaz, Rubín and Harmonie complete the recipe. Unfiltered and a deep amber-gold, it leads with a sweet honeyed note and grainy malt, followed by a spicy hop note and a moderate, slightly sharp bitterness that lingers.
