◎ Appearance

Deep brown to black in the glass, displaying excellent clarity despite its dark complexion. The head is dense and velvety tan, clinging to the glass with fine lacing that persists through the drink. Carbonation is moderate and well-integrated, lending visual liveliness to the dark body.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with pronounced caramel sweetness underpinned by roasted malt character. Gentle notes of black coffee and dried plum emerge from the blend of Munich and colour malts, while a subtle hint of dark chocolate lingers beneath. The Czech Saaz and Sládek hops contribute restrained herbal depth without dominating the malt-forward profile.

The palate is round and fullbodied, led by soft caramel and a gentle roasted grain character that evokes black coffee and cocoa. A moderate bitterness—21 IBU—keeps the inherent sweetness in check, preventing any cloying sensation. The special malts work together to create a balanced interplay of toasted notes and understated dark fruit complexity.

The finish remains soft and clean, with the bitterness fading gracefully into a lingering gentle sweetness. No harshness or astringency; the aftertaste is malty and composed.
