Small Realms presents a pale golden hue with excellent clarity and a fine, persistent white head that clings to the glass with good lacing. The carbonation is lively and visible, lending the beer a bright, inviting visual character that matches its sessionable intent.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with crisp citrus—lemon and grapefruit—layered over a subtle pine note that anchors the hop character without overwhelming. Beneath the bright top notes, candied orange and hints of mango emerge, creating a juicy, fruit-forward aroma that is characteristic of Polly's house style.

◐ Taste

The palate is clean and refreshing, with stone fruit and tropical fruit flavors—particularly mango and candied orange—developing in the mid-palate. Bitterness is restrained and balanced, present enough to provide definition but never harsh, allowing the juicy, fruity character to remain the focal point throughout.

◑ Finish

The finish is dry and bright, with no lingering heaviness to interrupt the session. A crisp, refreshing quality persists, inviting another pour.

Serve well-chilled. Session IPAs are at their best cold — the lower ABV means less warmth to balance the hops.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
