🌍 United Kingdom · Pale Ale · One of 110 Pale Ales in hopIQ

Polly's first beer with Sabro, brewed as their last collaboration with Big Mountain Brewing before the 2020 lockdown. Sabro delivers sweet, creamy pineapple and coconut at full volume before Citra reels it back into balance. At 5.8 percent, now part of the brewery's Icons range — and named after a truly terrible George Takei impression.

Aroma

The nose is dominated by ripe pineapple and coconut from the Sabro hop, delivering a creamy, tropical character at full intensity. Citra provides a balancing citrus edge with subtle grapefruit notes, keeping the profile from tipping into pure candy while maintaining the fruit-forward character.

Taste

Entry brings sweet tropical fruit and creamy mouthfeel, with Sabro's signature pineapple and coconut flavors taking center stage. The mid-palate remains smooth and rounded, with Citra's citric bite gradually asserting itself to provide counterbalance. A moderate bitterness emerges toward the finish without dominating, keeping the beer refreshing rather than harsh.

Serve & Enjoy

How to get the most out of Oh My...

Serve at 7–10°C
Refrigerate, then rest 2 min

Cold enough to sharpen the hop aroma without numbing the palate. Around 7–9°C keeps the citrus and pine vivid without losing bitterness definition.
