◎ Appearance

Pours a hazy golden colour with bright clarity beneath the suspended yeast and hop material. The head forms quickly and clings to the glass with moderate persistence, leaving fine traces of lacing on the walls. Carbonation appears lively and even throughout.

◌ Aroma

Fresh noble hops dominate immediately upon pouring, presenting distinct piney and citrus notes. The character is clean and herbaceous, with no oxidation or stale qualities. Light malt provides only a soft, barely perceptible sweetness in the background.

◐ Taste

Citrus and pine flavours lead the palate entry, with a light but defined malt sweetness underpinning the whole. Moderate bitterness builds through the mid-palate without becoming harsh, while lively carbonation adds lift and structure to the deliberately slender body. No harshness or astringency detracts from the crisp finish.

◑ Finish

Short to medium finish with a clean, dry aftertaste. The hop character persists gently without any lingering sweetness or metallic notes.

Serve well-chilled. Session IPAs are at their best cold — the lower ABV means less warmth to balance the hops.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
