Deep garnet to black in color, revealing ruby highlights at the edges when held to light. A dense, velvety foam crowns the pour, maintaining excellent retention and lacing throughout the glass. The beer presents a rich, opaque body with minimal light transmission.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with pronounced roasted malt and dark chocolate, underscored by earthy coffee grounds and cocoa powder. A subtle caramel sweetness emerges beneath the roasted character, while restrained noble hop resin adds a herbal dimension without dominating the profile.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with smooth roasted grain and rich cocoa, building a full, chocolate-forward mid-palate. Brewed coffee notes and caramel provide balance and subtle sweetness, while a firm, measured bitterness from quality hops takes hold in the center and carries through without harshness. The silky mouthfeel and moderate alcohol warmth frame a well-integrated whole.

The finish is medium-long, with roasted coffee and dark chocolate gradually fading to a dry, slightly herbal conclusion. A gentle hop bitterness lingers pleasantly without astringency.
