A pale golden hue with slight turbidity from the unfiltered malt and suspended yeast proteins, characteristic of the Czech pilsner tradition. The head forms with fine, persistent bubbles and displays notable lacing on the glass. Carbonation is moderate and even, creating a gentle cascade.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with floral and herbal notes from Saazer hops, supported by Saphir's subtle citric brightness and Tettnanger's soft spice. Beneath lies the fresh-bread character of Barke malt—a gentle, grainy foundation that anchors the more volatile hop aromatics. The overall profile is clean and mineral-driven, with no oxidative or yeasty overtones.

Entry is crisp and mineral-forward, with the noble hops delivering a balanced bitterness (33 IBU) that sits comfortably with the malt sweetness. Mid-palate develops the breadiness of the heritage grain variety, adding depth without heaviness, while Saazer and Tettnanger contribute layered herbal and citric notes. The finish is dry and clean, with a subtle bitter edge that lingers gently.
