Zéphyr

Tap to rate

Zéphyr is named for the Greek god of the west wind and was brewed with Prizm. Nelson Sauvin, Motueka and Riwaka shape a New England-style triple IPA of tropical fruit, gooseberry and citrus, with white wine notes, green lime and ripe passionfruit on the palate. It finishes dry. At 10% on pilsner, wheat and oat malts with Verdant IPA yeast. Vegan.

What is a Triple IPA?

IPAs are hop-forward ales with 5.5–7.5% ABV and IBU 40–70+. Bold hop aroma — citrus, tropical, resinous — with firm bitterness and a dry, clean finish.

hopIQ matches by flavor profile — not just style label. A beer with the same dry, fruity, tropical character as Zéphyr will score highly even if brewed in a different country or under a different sub-style name.
