Revival

Tap to rate

Revival is the lightest beer in Moor's core range at 3.4 % and is sold as an ultra session pale. Despite the low strength it is driven by hops: Cascade and Ella bring grapefruit, passionfruit and floral notes, and the finish is clean. The name has long been part of the brewery's line-up. Revival is unfiltered, naturally carbonated and vegan-friendly; it comes in 440 ml cans as well as on cask.

AI-generated sensory profile for Revival

◎ Appearance

Revival presents a pale golden hue with a slight haze characteristic of its unfiltered nature. The natural carbonation produces a fine, persistent head with good Schaumhaftung that clings to the glass. Bright and inviting, the beer offers visual clarity despite the suspended yeast particles.

◌ Aroma

The nose is driven by the Cascade and Ella hop varieties, which deliver pronounced citrus and stone fruit notes. Grapefruit and passionfruit aromatics dominate the profile, layered with subtle floral undertones that linger pleasantly. A light malt backbone provides soft, grainy support without overshadowing the hop expression.

◐ Taste

The palate entry is light and crisp, with the hop bitterness arriving early and building steadily through the mid-palate. Citrus flavors echo the aroma, balanced by minimal malt sweetness that keeps the beer refreshing rather than cloying. At 3.4% ABV, the low alcohol allows the hop character to shine without warming or alcoholic heat.

Serve at 7–10°C

Cold enough to sharpen the hop aroma without numbing the palate. Around 7–9°C keeps the citrus and pine vivid without losing bitterness definition.

hopIQ matches by flavor profile — not just style label. A beer with the same clean, hoppy, floral character as Revival will score highly even if brewed in a different country or under a different sub-style name.
