Pink grapefruit, mango and nectarine jump out of the glass of this hazy IPA at 7% ABV. Tasting Notes

AI-generated sensory profile for Space Station

◎ Appearance

Space Station presents a hazy, pale golden body with a fine white head that settles into gentle lacing. The cloudiness derives from yeast and suspended proteins characteristic of the style, while the light color (5 SRM) reveals the beer's focus on hop character over malt depth. Carbonation appears moderate and even throughout.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads immediately with bright stone fruit — pink grapefruit, nectarine, and peach are unmistakable. A single Manilita hop lot from New Zealand's Nelson Lakes farm provides the primary aromatic signature, supported by Cashmere's soft melon and citrus undertones and Cascade's classic grapefruit zest. The overall impression is fresh, fruit-forward, and inviting without harsh vegetal notes.

◐ Taste

The palate opens juicy and clean, with ripe stone fruit flavors mirroring the aroma. Moderate bitterness (50 IBU) arrives mid-palate as a fine balance rather than a dominating force, allowing the tropical and citrus notes to remain prominent. A light, creamy mouthfeel underpins the entry before transitioning to a dry, refreshing mid-section that avoids any harsh mineral or astringent edges.

◑ Finish

The finish is relatively short and clean, allowing bitterness and citrus to fade gracefully. A lingering peachy sweetness and dry hop character persist without becoming heavy or lingering excessively.
