Born Yesterday

Tap to rate

Mango, pineapple and coconut come through with bright orange and grapefruit, carried by fresh wet hops from Yakima Valley that are rushed to the brewery on refrigerated trucks in under 24 hours and dropped straight into the brew. This 7.2 % fresh hop ale is a limited October release made to catch the hops' aromatics before the flavor clock runs out. Lagunitas was founded in 1993 and has belonged entirely to Heineken since May 2017.

Serve well-chilled. Session IPAs are at their best cold — the lower ABV means less warmth to balance the hops.

Tulip glass

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.

Drink fresh. Session IPAs are brewed to be consumed young — the hops are at their best now.
