The nose presents a complex bouquet of roasted malts with prominent dark chocolate and coffee notes, complemented by subtle dark fruit esters reminiscent of raisins and port wine. A gentle earthiness underlies the aromatic profile, with warm, toasted grain character adding depth without aggressive hop presence.

The palate opens with robust malty sweetness and caramel notes, transitioning into rich dark chocolate and espresso flavors with dried fruit complexity. Despite the 5.8% ABV, this beer demonstrates impressive body and depth, with a well-integrated bitterness (28 IBU) that remains subtle and refined rather than assertive, allowing the malt character to dominate.
