Carbonation is restrained, typical of the style, allowing the visual weight of the beer to dominate.

The nose opens with prominent roasted malt character, complemented by rich chocolate and coffee notes that emerge in equal measure. Dark fruit undertones—raisin and plum—add complexity beneath the dominant roasted profile. The aromatic balance reflects careful grain selection and roasting technique, with no sharp or overly bitter edges.

The palate enters with smooth roasted flavors that transition seamlessly into cocoa and espresso notes. Mid-palate reveals a full body with toasty depth, while residual dark fruit and subtle alcohol warmth add dimension.
