AI-generated sensory profile for Strooigoed

◎ Appearance

Deep chestnut brown with excellent clarity and a tight, persistent foam head that clings to the glass with fine lacework. The body shows good density and a slow, even carbonation that builds gradually on the palate. Light catches the beer with warm amber undertones that hint at the roasted Malz character within.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with prominent dark chocolate and roasted grain notes, followed by subtle red stone fruit reminiscent of dried plum or raisin. A gentle warmth from the 6.5% ABV sits beneath, with just a whisper of spice and a faint burnt undertone that speaks to the deliberate roasting profile. The overall impression is rich and round, with no sharp edges.

◐ Taste

The palate enters smooth and malty, with dark chocolate and toasted grain coating the mouth immediately. Mid-palate shows a restrained but perceptible bitterness—clean and slightly burnt, not aggressive—balanced by the soft, full body. Red fruit notes emerge quietly on the mid-palate, threading through the malt sweetness and adding gentle complexity without disrupting the overall warmth.

◑ Finish

The finish is medium in length, fading smoothly with lingering chocolate and a subtle burnt edge. The aftertaste leans toward dry toast and fading malt sweetness, leaving the palate warm and satisfied without any sharp drying effect.
