◎ Appearance

Jetty presents a pale golden hue with excellent clarity and a bright, inviting appearance. The white head builds firmly and clings to the glass with good retention, leaving delicate lacing on the walls. Carbonation is lively and well-integrated, supporting the overall vivacity of the beer.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with distinct grapefruit and bright citrus notes from the Simcoe and Amarillo hops, layered with a pronounced pine and woody character. Beneath the hop intensity lies a subtle cedar-like resinous note that adds complexity. The pale Malz base contributes only a light, understated biscuit suggestion, never competing with the hop aromatics.

◐ Taste

The palate opens clean and direct, with the hop character immediately assertive. Grapefruit and citrus flavors dominate the mid-palate, complemented by the woody, pine-driven backbone from Simcoe and Chinook. The bitterness is clean and firm, well-integrated rather than aggressive, and the lean Malz backbone stays purposefully pale and unobtrusive, allowing hops to lead throughout.

◑ Finish

The beer finishes dry with lingering citrus and pine notes that fade gradually. No sweetness or residual maltiness lingers; instead, a crisp bitterness and resinous character persist into the aftertaste.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
