Queen Bee

Ireland·Blonde Ale
Tap to rate

Queen Bee is a blonde ale at 5.5%, brewed with a local honey from beehives in Fingal, north County Dublin, to mark the brewery's tenth anniversary. The aroma is clear and rich, with honey and honeydew melon; on the palate the same flavour comes through smoothly and gives way to faint herbal and minty notes in the finish. European hop varieties are used, the late additions reinforcing the melon side. The beer was made together with Brouwerij Hoop in Zaandijk in the Netherlands.
