De Klok Weizen
A wheat beer with a light banana note, brewed from wheat malt and barley malt with yeast and hops. At 4.8% ABV it carries the De Klok name, which honours Brouwerij de Klok, as the Grolsche Bierbrouwerij was called from 1809 to 1954. The name goes back to the church bell that rang when the service ended, the cue for a cold beer.

Slightly warmer than a lager — 8–12°C allows the banana and clove esters from the yeast to fully develop.
Tall and narrow at the base, flaring at the top — designed to hold the abundant foam of a wheat beer while showcasing its hazy golden body.
Best fresh. The yeast-driven banana and clove character fades over time. Drink within 4 months.
