Deep amber to chestnut brown with a warm, translucent body. The head forms a modest tan collar that gradually settles into light lacing on the glass. Carbonation is subdued, lending a dense and contemplative presence.

The nose leads with toasted malz character, lifted by soft oak and vanilla undertones from the extended rum barrel conditioning. Dark fruit notes—dried plum and raisin—emerge beneath, with a subtle warmth hinting at the alcohol integration. No sharp alcohol bite; the wood and spirit have married into the beer's structure.

Rich and vollmundig on the palate, with substantial malz sweetness anchoring the mid-palate. Rum barrel character adds smooth oak tannins and caramel depth without dominating; the base beer's malt foundation remains the primary voice. Bitterness is restrained at 22 IBU, allowing sweetness and wood to develop fully. The finish carries lingering caramel and dark fruit warmth.
