Shiny Day glows with a bright golden-yellow hue, its fine haze signaling natural unfiltered character rather than cloudiness from instability. The foam sits with modest retention, leaving thin trails of lacing as the glass empties. Carbonation appears lively and well-integrated, contributing to the beer's visual snap.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with Meyer lemon zest and fresh citrus pith, layered beneath with ripe pineapple and cantaloupe flesh. Noble hop character dominates without harshness, supported by a clean, neutral malt base that allows the fruit esters to breathe. A faint stone-fruit whisper rounds the aromatic profile without overwhelming the citrus core.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with bright citric acidity and juicy stone-fruit sweetness, then transitions through a mid-palate of pineapple and subtle cantaloupe notes. Bitterness arrives measured and composed, present enough to frame the fruit without dominating. At 7.1% ABV, the alcohol sits invisible, leaving the palate crisp and refreshing rather than warming or cloying.

The aftertaste lingers briefly with a hint of Rainier cherry, then fades cleanly to dry citrus pith. No lingering heaviness or harsh tannin; the finish invites the next sip rather than demanding it.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
