Figo
Figo is Galway Bay's Italian-style pilsner at 4.5 %. It started as a trial batch in the brewery's lager discovery series and has since joined the regular line-up. The model is the Italian reading of German pilsner: more hops late in the process, which gives a pronounced hop character and a soft floral aroma from German varieties. More than 40 days of lagering leave a very smooth finish, and the beer drinks crisp.

Drink fresh and cold. Pilsners do not improve with age — within 3 months of packaging is ideal.

hopIQ matches by flavor profile — not just style label. A beer with the same hoppy, smooth, floral character as Figo will score highly even if brewed in a different country or under a different sub-style name.
