Tasting Notes

AI-generated sensory profile for Great Minds Trifecta (Frontaal)

◎ Appearance

Deep black-brown color with opaque density, presenting a rich visual intensity characteristic of the style. A thick, persistent tan head forms and maintains strong adhesion to the glass walls. Low carbonation creates a languid surface tension, adding to the beer's weighty presentation.

◌ Aroma

Vanilla dominates the nose with clear, creamy character from the Ugandan vanilla addition, sitting atop a foundation of dark roasted malts and cocoa powder. Beneath lies a biscuit-forward malt complexity—pale ale grain sweetness interwoven with oat and wheat softness. The roast never overwhelms; instead it frames the vanilla as the focal point of the aromatic profile.

◐ Taste

Vanilla carries through the palate with sustained presence, integrating into a full-bodied malt matrix of caramel, biscuit, and dark chocolate. The 12% ABV manifests as warmth and slight boozy viscosity rather than harshness. At 40 IBU, bitterness remains measured and supportive, allowing malt sweetness and vanilla complexity to occupy the primary space; roasted character adds depth without drying.

◑ Finish

The finish extends with lingering vanilla notes and a gentle roast-driven dryness that gradually fades. Residual warmth from the alcohol remains smooth and integrated, leaving a soft chocolate and biscuit aftertaste.
