Another Fucking IPA

Tap to rate

Citrus, soft resin and a slight tropical edge come up front, over a clearly present but drinkable bitterness, a lighter body and a dry, crisp finish. Columbus, Cascade and Willamette from León plus Simcoe from the USA do the work, while the lager yeast W-34/70 at around 18 °C stays quiet so the hops can lead and the beer settles clear. The name began as a brewery conversation: Sven did not want to brew just another IPA.

◌ Aroma

Citrus leads the charge—bright lemon and grapefruit from the Cascade and Willamette hops—layered over a soft, herbal resin note. A subtle tropical undertone emerges on closer inspection, while the W-34/70 yeast remains restrained, allowing the hop character to dominate without any fermentation phenols.

◐ Taste

Entry is crisp and dry, with citrus flavors immediately present alongside a light pine and herbal quality from the Simcoe and Columbus contributions. Mid-palate balances an accessible 45 IBU bitterness against a lean, clean malt foundation that never becomes sweet or full-bodied. The finish is bone-dry and lingering.

◑ Finish

Dry, clean exit with a persistent bitter-citrus aftertaste that fades gradually. No lingering sweetness or astringency—just a refreshing, thirst-inducing conclusion.
