Deep ruby to dark amber hue with excellent clarity and a rich tan head that displays fine lacing down the glass. The body shows good substance with steady carbonation and persistent head retention characteristic of a well-crafted English Strong Ale.

The nose opens with pronounced roasted malt character balanced by subtle fruity esters reminiscent of autumn orchard fruits. Beneath lies a gentle herbal and earthy hop presence from the Challenger, Fuggle, and Bramling Cross blend, creating an understated but layered aromatic profile.

◐ Taste

The palate leads with smooth roasted grain and toasted malt flavors that develop into dark fruit notes—plum and berry—as it crosses the tongue. The bitterness integrates thoughtfully at 35 IBU, neither aggressive nor absent, while the full body carries warmth appropriate to the 5.4% strength without alcohol dominance.
