Tap to rate

A juicy 7.0 % IPA from the Tooth & Claw range, hopped with Nelson Sauvin and Vic Secret. Gooseberry, pineapple and passionfruit lead the aroma. Tooth & Claw began in 2018 as a 70-litre pilot kit run by Camerons staff, with the aim of brewing over 40 styles a year, and some of them were scaled up to 16 hl.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with juicy tropical and stone fruit flavors that evolve into a balanced moderate bitterness in the mid-palate. The 60 IBU present themselves with restraint, allowing the hop-derived fruit to remain the focal point while maintaining a crisp, dry mouthfeel.

◑ Finish

The finish is clean and moderately dry, with lingering berry and citrus notes fading into a gentle herbal dryness. The 7% ABV remains well-integrated, leaving no warming sensation or sweetness behind.

Serve at 8–11°C

Serve well-chilled. Session IPAs are at their best cold — the lower ABV means less warmth to balance the hops.

Tulip glass

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.

Drink fresh. Session IPAs are brewed to be consumed young — the hops are at their best now.
