Camerons IPA

Tap to rate

A classic US-style IPA, dry hopped with Citra and Chinook. Full citrus hop flavours are followed by a lovely bitter finish at 6.2 %. This one is brewed for export only, and it has shown up on draught in Italy this autumn, so it is not a beer to look for on a bar in Hartlepool. The brewery lists it under the plain name IPA.

◐ Taste

The palate delivers full citrus and orange flavors immediately, balanced by a robust, measured bitterness that builds through the mid-palate without becoming aggressive. A dry texture frames the hop character, with subtle malt sweetness providing foundation without interference.

Serve well-chilled. Session IPAs are at their best cold — the lower ABV means less warmth to balance the hops.

Tulip glass

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.

Drink fresh. Session IPAs are brewed to be consumed young — the hops are at their best now.
