Blue Moon Belgian White

◎ Appearance

Blue Moon presents a pale golden hue with a distinctly hazy, cloudy appearance characteristic of authentic witbiers. The beer displays excellent carbonation with a persistent white head that provides good retention and lacing on the glass.

◌ Aroma

The nose is dominated by bright citrus notes, particularly Valencia orange peel, complemented by warm spice from coriander and subtle herbal undertones. There's a clean wheat backbone with gentle yeast character that avoids phenolic harshness, creating an inviting and approachable aromatic profile.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with smooth wheat grain sweetness balanced by crisp, refreshing citrus notes that build through the mid-palate. Coriander and subtle spice provide complexity without overwhelming, while the minimal bitterness (9 IBU) allows the adjuncts and wheat to shine, creating a clean and drinkable character.

◑ Finish

The finish is clean and refreshing with lingering citrus notes that fade gracefully. A light, dry conclusion leaves the palate refreshed without any cloying sweetness.

Serve cold to preserve the delicate citrus and spice aromas. Too warm and the yeast esters become heavy — too cold and the coriander disappears.
