Sleepless Night

Tap to rate

An imperial porter built around a single ingredient. It pours black with a compact, creamy, hazelnut-coloured head. Liquid and ground coffee lead a clean aroma, followed by burnt caramel, liquorice and roasted barley. The palate is very soft; coffee and liquorice dominate, with notes of bitter cocoa and ash. It was created as a collaboration with four other Italian breweries.

Serve at 10–13°C. Too cold mutes the roasted complexity that makes a good porter worth drinking slowly.

Drink within 6–12 months for best results. Baltic Porters can be aged longer.
