Two Lights is Allagash's summer beer built around the meeting of cold beer and sparkling wine. Sauvignon Blanc grape must goes into a wort of two-row barley, oat malt and rolled oats, and a blend of lager and champagne yeast ferments it; Amarillo, Simcoe and Nelson Sauvin provide the hops. Pear and light hops lead the aroma, and the flavor mixes tropical fruit, gooseberry-like white wine notes and the snap of fresh green grape over a soft, oat-rounded body, finishing dry and spritzy.
