Lewis

Tap to rate

Lewis is an unfiltered pale lager in the Franconian manner, brewed with very soft water and a grist of Pilsner, Vienna and Munich malt. The malt side stays delicate, with honey and bread crust, while Tettnang-grown Tradition, Mittelfrüh, Select and Saphir add herbal and floral notes. Bitterness is gentle and carbonation moderate. It was the first beer made at the brewery and is dedicated to the founder's father, Luigi Valeriani.
