🌍 Italy · Belgian Tripel · One of 35 Belgian Tripels in hopIQ

A top-fermented tripel at 8.5 percent, brewed to the recipe of the Trappist community at Tre Fontane near Rome. Its distinguishing note comes from the abbey's own grounds: eucalyptus grown on site lends a mild, sweet herbal character you won't find elsewhere in the style. At 26 IBU the bitterness stays in the background. Italy's only Trappist brewery, producing no more than a thousand hectolitres a year — and carrying the Authentic Trappist Product seal.
