Beers similar to Köstritzer Spezial Pils

hopIQ found 10 beers that share Köstritzer Spezial Pils's herbal and hoppy character. Köstritzer Spezial Pils is a bottom-fermented Pilsner at 5.5 % ABV from 11.1 °P original gravity. It is fermented out much further than a standard Pils, which leaves very little residual sugar and explains the relatively high alcohol from a modest wort. It pours a brilliant gold with a fine white head. The nose is fresh and lightly bitter, with herbal hop notes and a hint of pale grain. The palate is slim and crisp with a touch of fruit, a trace of malt sweetness and a clear hop bitterness that lingers pleasantly.
